Scarab Printing
Scarab Printing Arts specializes in die cutting, embossing and foil stamping. I operate 3 machines for them: the Konica Minolta bizhub Pro C6500 (digial print projects), the Epson Stylus Pro 10600 - large format printer (large, over-sized prints), and theC9650 PSI Envelope Printer (multi sized envelope print jobs). I use the Adobe Creative Suite software to work on client and in-house production and design projects. Scarab's projects are concise and exacting, so attention to detail is important. This is a sampling of the work I do at Scarab.
I designed the cover, laid out the inside pages and printed it on the digital press. The title & author were Gold foil stamped. 72 page book.

The groom, a pressman at Scarab, is a Jeff Gordon fan. I worked with him to design the card and he printed them on a letterpress.

The wedding & reception map was designed to mirror the invitation. The groom printed this on a letterpress.
The initial direction was to be playful with an old fashioned Route 66 postcard look. They decided for the formal direction, which lent itself better to the letterpress printing.
